The other dragon is named Sliver wing. The original rider of Vermithor was King Jaehaerys (the old king in 1x01) and the original rider of Sliverwing was Jaehaerys wife: The good queen Alyanse. She's probably the most loved queen during the targaryen dynasty. Cregen stark mentioned his grandfather brought Queen Alyanse to see the wall and her dragon (silver wing) refused to cross it. After Jaehaerys and Alyanse death, the two dragons stayed by each other side. Them staying with each other, sort of represents Jaehaerys and Alyanse love. However,.I fear for them now that they're about to get used for war smh.

I also think Ekko will have a bigger role in season 2 - we barely saw him in S1. And yes, he is also a candidate for saving people - if it is Jinx... we will see (if she can be ever saved).

I really like the fact that his encounter with Caitlyn and the obvious trust between her and Vi is what convinces Ekko to put some faith in Heimerdinger, someone he has every reason to distrust and absolutely would have just 24 hours earlier. Just look at how suspicious everyone else in the undercity was of Heimer since he came there to help. Cait clearly wasn't the only one changed for the better by her little trip downtown I would love to see a scene in season 2 of Ekko and Heimerdinger talking about the current state of the city and its history, with Heimerdinger explaining how he and the other councilors let it get so bad and expressing some regret for his part in what has become of Zaun, at which point Ekko offers him a chance to make up for it by changing things for the better now

There is always a second layer that I feel people don't think about when it comes to Max and her power. She was learning how to be accountable for her actions. Even Evil Max addresses this in the original game. Instead of making a choice and accepting the outcome she could keep doing it over and over until she got her way. Going back and erasing the storm is, in my opinion, still not learning her lesson because that is what she has been doing the whole game up until that point. Hell, even Chloe's speech before the choice is about finally choosing to be accountable for her actions. You could go with her argument and let her take on all the blame or Max could choose to not put it off on Chloe and take responsibility for her own actions. She already chose to save Chloe. The Bae ending is about committing to it and accepting whatever consequence may come.

Neither of the endings are "good", they both have downsides to them. Sacrificing bae: -"Only" one person dies - mark jefferson gets punished -the town itself survives BUT -Max has to live with all her trauma alone. She can't even go to a therapist. -Chloe will die depressed, and alone, being abandoned by everyone, and never knowing what happened to Rachel. ALSO, just like the trolley problem, sacrificing chloe is an active choice while sacrificing the town is a passive one. The town is gonna get destryed on it's own. you have to "pull the lever" for chloe to get killed instead. As a person who would NOT pull the lever in the original trolley problem, it's because I would feel so much worse knowing I actively killed a person, compared to letting 5 people die. Killing that one person is getting blood on my hands. I'm not saying sacrificing bay is the "correct" choice here, just that the choice is harder than some people make it sound like

Even if i personally think that Saving Chloe IS the "evil" ending, i don't think any of them can be considered truly evil. It just came off to me (just my 2 cents) as that the Bay ending was the one which Dontnod wanted us to pick, it was more dramatic and tragic which the game itself is too and had a different licensed track. The whole story revolved around the butterfly effect and Max's rewind causing her to alter things and only making them worse. Without her power, Chloe would have died way earlier, she saved her about 3 or 4 times total, even saved her father which got her in the wheelchair. I hope Deck Nine planned in advance and has the option to pick which ending you chose like LIS2 did, if not then there will be an uproar for sure, same goes for canonising either ending.

It's definitely understandable that this topic causes some concerns. But I was able to read the whole thread when it was still available and that Developer genuinely seemed to be trying to reach a nuanced conclusion. He started with something black-and-white - noting some members of D9 debated that saving Chloe was evil. But in his conclusion he said something much more comforting. His conclusion, listed below... 'In the end I think it's much more complicated than right or wrong, I think our moral compass is going to be skewed hard by our lives and how we've been treated through them. Passing judgement on others based on that choice overlooks a huge portion of who we are as people.' And I agree with that conclusion. I don't think 'Bay' or 'Bae' people should be passing judgement on each other. We each justify the ending based on our own personal life experience. But fans started sending him a bunch of messages only focusing on his first tweet and said he's claiming that saving Chloe is 'evil'. He politely tried to explain that this wasn't his point and to please read his whole thread. Then he had to lock down his Twitter account because too many people were piling onto him. I think the ending of his thread is important to consider. It's also important to consider that back during the Before the Storm days, in the writing team they said the vast majority of the team chose 'Bae'. And two of those original writers are now the Narrative Directors on Double Exposure. Hopefully that gives fans a bit more comfort and a bit less concern :)

Neither endings are good and bad. Tbh the ebdings are based around ethical views. Would you rather let one person be saved or go back to the original timeline which saves a whole town with good people.

I couldn't agree more with you on this. I was concerned when they announced, and everything I've seen since has only worried me more. At this point, I don't believe they will respect both choices from the original game. Time will tell, but I do not have much hope for this game.

I had worries about double exposure right after announcement. When I imagine LIS1 sequel, I imagine Max and Chloe continueing theyre crazy time travel journey maybe even with episodes with Rachel and deeper explanation of where from tornado came, what it all mean and so on. Double Exposure feels like a little bit rushed game which only borrows Max as a lead just for marketing and bassically ignoring LIS1. Even Max power changed to something easer to program into game. I wish I'm wrong, but now Double exposure feel more like True Colours with different man character. True Colours is not a bad game, but pales in comparison to LIS1.

Hello hello. And here we are again. It seems the LiS games' little imperfections never seem to find resolution. I fault DontNod. The ending they forced upon the player is on their doorstep, and for them, or any game dev, to cast blame upon the player is pure b*llsh*t. That said-- the player's choice -- can never be rationalized truly, since there was never going to be any other choice, no matter what the player chose for Max's response to the entire series of events. It would be nice, one day, if D9 could have a chance to remaster BtS and fix a lot of its issues. But that's not likely. So, don't fret about it (everyone) so much. It's a game. Play it. Enjoy it.

I've seen this discussed in another video, and I'm not 100& certain but I think they said this individual no longer works at Deck Nine - again I may be wrong but I wouldn't be surprised if this was a typical example of this person's viewpoints. I wouldn't say this opinion was scary, I'd say it's just plain dumb, for all the reasons you said. I think IF these conversations happened, it would have been very early on in development and were never meant to be taken seriously, and certainly never meant to be made public. I think if you have Max still questioning whether she did the right thing within the game, that makes sense and it's natural that she would. But I think this individual was using it to voice their particular views on certain things and it's not surprising the tweets were deleted, and if I am right, even less surprising this person no longer works there.

The only thing i don't want them to do is make one ending overshadowing the other and say this ending would be better for the new game i think we should see Chloe and someone u save from not destroying the town

I so much agree with you, especially for first pointing out the ending choice was a bit BS. On my first playthrough, the ending felt so forced and overly contrived. I was frustrated because I knew, on the one hand, what the devs were going for as a gamer, but, on the other hand, roleplaying as Max as if this was real, I would have no way of knowing that sacrificing Chloe would actually save Arcadia. Would I go back in time to basically X her on such a wild hunch? No way. I would have too many question in RL, like what force of nature would have it out for Chloe in the first place, and what force of nature would gift me the power to save her? Is this "final" choice just contest between these two? In RL as Max, I would be so confused and unsure that I would simply do what I felt was right in every moment, and that would mean saving Chloe if I saw her in danger. But, yet, the writers and devs were obviously aiming for the meta-gamer who understand it's a game with a clear choice while not actually roleplaying too deeply. And they seemed to have a bias, giving you a longer and more complete ending if your chose "correctly." I mean, I still loved the game with all my heart, but I really appreciate when someone like you calls out the ending for what it was; a gamer's choice, not a realistic in-game character choice.

I think keeping Chloe alive is the best one. Because there best friends and a true friend won't let them die. Plus the people said over again that it's a bad place to live. Plus I don't have the guts to let my friends go. Because friends is more important thing ever. So the town is not worth saving

Saving Chloe is not "Evil". Max is introverted. He heart has room for Chloe, not a whole town If Max saves the town it would be from feelings of guilt . My guess is Max would leave Arcadia Bay and never return. She would break into tears every time she sees a butterfly. If that dude wants to see evil, he should look in the mirror.

Not that again... With little empathy, you can see that Max's choice can be everything but not evil. I'm so concerned with this game. It's like they really want one canon ending to make their life easier to create another game.

I love this saga, but there are people who are criticizing Square Enix because before they said they would not make more Western and Controversial video games, in the end they will make another one. Regarding saving the one person you love VS everyone else. Sure, but in the context of the game, I remember perceiving the storm as nature rebelling to our use of powers (which a human is not supposed to have) to change the natural course of events. I didn’t feel like it was my place to mess with that. Doubt that letting Chloe die was an easy choice for anyone. Can’t wait for the game to come out, your analysis has always been a part of the experience ❤

Saving Chloe is the good ending because game shows us that when we trying to fix anything by going back in time we make more mess. its just stupid that they decided to break it by not showing tornado at the wrong bay ending. i hope people who chose bay ending dont have friends because they would sacrifice them in an instant for some random people who will never be grateful for being saved
